In the 30th anniversary of Seattle and Chongqing becoming sister cities, March 22, 2012, Launching Ceremony Seattle Week in Chongqing was be held.

Mr. Mike McGinn (Mayor of Seattle, USA) and Wu Gang(Deputy mayor of Chongqing) attended the ceremon and cutted the ribbon for opening.

In Seattle Week, the Seattle government delegation and Chongqing government would hold cordial talks about communicating and cooperating of low carbon building, garden, education and other areas.
